This club helps students develop an understanding of 3D printing and its applications.
Ag Grows Here
Ag Grows Here is an agricultural studies student organization exclusive to NSCC. This group is open to any NSCC learner interested in learning more about agriculture, whether it’s your major or not! Members enjoy exposure to and networking opportunities in one of the leading industries in northwest Ohio. Guest speakers, field trips, and meet and greets with NSCC ag alumni punctuate the academic year. Additionally, the group raises awareness about the agricultural studies program at NSCC and agriculture in general on and off campus.

Alpha Delta Nu Nursing Honor Society
The goal of the Alpha Delta Nu Nursing Honor Society is to recognize the academic excellence of students in the study of associate degree nursing. The group works to promote scholarship and academics in the profession of nursing, as well as encouraging the pursuit of advanced degrees in the profession. As provisional members or candidates of the Alpha Delta Chapter of the Alpha Delta Nu Honor Society, students have had to maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and have earned a grade of “B” or better in each of their nursing classes. Students have also had to demonstrate conduct on campus and in the clinical areas that reflects the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.

Active Minds
Active Minds is a national organization founded over 20 years ago. Today, it has almost 550 chapters in the US. Each year, nearly 16,000 college students join Active Minds as passionate advocates and educators for mental health. Advocates encourage their peers and networks to learn about, talk about, and seek help for mental health issues just as they would for a physical issue, without shame or silence. This peer-to-peer approach is unique to Active Minds and one that works. Active Minds is opening up the conversation about mental health and creating lasting change in the way mental health is talked about, cared for, and valued on college campuses. Meetings are every Wednesday from noon until 1 pm in room C150G.

Cru is a caring community passionate about connecting people to Jesus Christ. Cru meets at 7:30 p.m. most Thursdays.

Dean’s Leadership Cluster
The Dean’s Leadership Cluster (DLC) is a group of high-impact students who have earned Presidential and Honors Scholarships. Members have earned a high school or college GPA of at least 3.5 and an ACT score of at least 24, majoring in a wide range of disciplines throughout the College. They attend courses full time and have part-time jobs in their respective fields of study. They also serve their institution and community by volunteering for diverse initiatives. These students represent the future leaders of northwest Ohio. Part of their experiential learning is in meeting business leaders locally and across the country.

evMotorsports
The future of transportation is changing, and electric vehicles are coming to the forefront. This group works each year to prepare an electric powered go-kart for a collegiate evGrandPrix racing event. The event represents an innovative approach to developing the next generation of automobiles powered by electricity.

Kappa Beta Delta Honor Society
KBD is an honor society for students who are enrolled in a business major and maintaining a 3.5 GPA after completing 18 or more credit hours. An induction ceremony is held for eligible students during the fall and spring semesters.

Northwest State Cryptic Cyborgs
Affiliated with FIRST Robotics, this group problem solves, designs and builds a robot to solve an obstacle course at competitions. The team is comprised of high school students enrolled at Northwest State through the College Credit Plus program.

NSCC Thunder
NSCC Thunder is the college’s official e-sports group. The group hosts free events each month that are open to students, as well as the general public. Whether you are super competitive in Overwatch or a casual Smash Bros. player, there is something for everyone to do.

Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society
Phi Theta Kappa is an honor & service organization for students attaining a 3.5 GPA after completing 18 or more credit hours. An induction ceremony is held for eligible students during the fall and spring semesters.

Student Body Organization
The Student Body Organization, or SBO, is responsible for promoting academic, recreational and social activities for students. Some of the events that SBO is responsible for are Welcome Back Week, Chili Cook-Off and Spring Fling.

The Ink Blots
The Ink Blots give learners an opportunity to practice creative or journalistic writing in their individual preferred genres while offering writing support and themed workshops to also build creative writing skills.

NSCC Game Club
NSCC Game Club – NWO Gamers is a student group that loves to have fun and socialize through gaming. We host weekly events where we play board games, card games, video games, and even build stuff with legos!
