March 28, 2025 - ARCHBOLD, OHIO - Northwest State Community College is the "best decision ever," according to many who have attended it and acquired a high-quality higher education with little or no student debt. The college is encouraging current and former students, supporters, business partners and our community to join the 2025 Community College Month—or #CCMonth—campaign to bring attention to the value and importance of the college to our community.

March 24, 2025 - ARCHBOLD, OHIO - he Northwest State Community College FIRST Robotics high school team 6181 (Cryptic Cyborgs) will compete at the 2025 Buckeye Regional tournament held at Cleveland State University – Wolstein Center, April 3 through April 5, 2025. Teams from Ohio, New York and Pennsylvania, as well as international teams from the Dominican Republic and Turkey will compete at the event.

February 25, 2025 - ARCHBOLD, OHIO – The Northwest State Community College Board of Trustees met in regular session on Friday, February 21st at the Archbold campus. As part of the meeting’s agenda, the Board elected its new Chair, Vice Chair and Second Vice Chair for the period of February 2025 to February 2026. Katrina DeGroff (Fulton County) was elected Chair, Mickey Schwarzbek (Defiance County) was elected Vice Chair, and Joel Miller (Henry County) was elected as Second Vice Chair by the Board. NSCC President Dr. Todd Hernandez offered remarks of gratitude for Sandra Barber, who served as Chair for the 2024-2025 period, for her ongoing dedication and years of service to the College.
